Have you always wanted to travel and spend time helping others through a volunteer opportunity in Guatamala?

The Benjamin Bus Project is planning its first humanitarian trip for all those who may be interested to experience a small taste of an ancient and sacred culture. Without a doubt, it will be an experience unlike no other! Charla Wistos and Linda Haggerty, the coordinators, have spent oh so many months living and learning Spanish in the heart of the indigenous Mayan Highlands on the shores of the most recognized and picturesque Lake Atitlan. Along with and with the help of some local families you will be immersed into an ancient and sacred culture.
Many of the activities we will be doing to name a few are: A couple of service projects, cooking authentic Guatemala food, attending a back strap weaving demonstration, touring different pueblos, enjoying an easy hike to a Mayan sacred cave. Of course there will be time to just relax, walk the streets, eat at the local restaurants and take leisurely excursions across the lake.
